2011 – Debuts in Grand Tourisme :
In 2011, Julien Gerbi decides to orientate his career toward Grand Tourisme racing. Currently being in contact with several WTCC, British GT and Le Mans Series Teams, the French-Algerian driver makes his first steps in GT with the Italian Team Nova Race on the track of Adria, driving a 400 hp Ginetta G50 from the Italian GT4 Championship.

2009 / 2010 – A first taste of Formula 2 :
After his Formula 3000 test, Gerbi eventually had the chance to drive the new Williams-Audi Formula 2 car on the track of Valencia, in Spain. With this test, Gerbi became the first Algerian driver to test a F2 car in the history of the country. This test day eventually allowed Julien to launch his new private investment website : www.myracedriver.com.

2009 / 2010 – Winter testing in F3000 :
After a good end of season in Formula Palmer Audi, Julien was called by Coloni Motorsport for testing the Lola-Zytek F3000. He drove on the track of Magione, and showed great abilities by beating the times of European F3000 champions and current F1 test drivers. Gerbi was also driving the Coloni 20 years after his godfather Roberto Moreno did so in F1.

2009 – Back in Europe :
The French-Algerian driver raced in the famous British Formula Palmer Audi for the Team Biotech International. His season was marked by lots of mechanical issues, but he eventually managed to take a 1st row at Snetterton’s last race. Julien finished 12th overall, against more than 30 drivers, and he was eventually crowned as the shown the most improved driver of the season.

2008 – The winning year :
This was aimed to be his real competition year. In 14 races, he took 10 podiums on his way to 4th in the standings, against 95 drivers. He led the championship until the 10th race, where he suffered technical difficulties and dropped down in the classification. However an important part of the work had been done; he had proved himself to be a race winner on both continents.

2007 – The first year in the USA :
Thanks to his results in Formula 3 in 2006, Julien entered into the classification of the World’s best 100 young drivers, among Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel. Julien decided to leave Europe, for racing in the USA during two years, in the famous US Barber Mazda Series (ex Montoya, Speed, Patrick). Julien took the 10th place in the championship against 36 drivers.

2006 – The Turkish Experience :
Julien signed for racing in the Turkish Formula 3 championship. Supported by Red Bull Turkey, the Active Motorsport driver competed in eight races out of fourteen, finishing 5th overall and winning the Rookie title. He won 3 races, climbed on 5 podiums and scored 2 pole-position and 2 fastest laps. He also set the new Izmir track record, which still holds today.

2005 – Preparing the future :
After having signed a contract in British Formula 3, Julien eventually ran out of budget and had to compete in only one round of the Spanish Formula BMW series. He suffered a DNF on the track of Estoril, due to a fuel pump failure. During that season, Julien tested in Formula Renault and on a Porsche GT3 on the track of Adria, in Italy.

2004 – The first year of competition :
Julien started his professional racing career, competing in the European Sport Prototypes championship. Racing for the Draco Junior Team, he finished 3rd for his first ever-race on the track of Monza, and scored the pole-position at Dubai. Racing against ex-F1 and IndyCar drivers, he eventually finished 4th in the overall standings, and became the European Rookie Champion.
